Saharan Outpost - Review

Saharan Outpost is a 3D action/shooter game set in Morocco in 1923 where your mission is to save the French Foreign Legion outpost and kill the Riff leader. You have only 500 rounds of ammunition to achieve this.

This is a ten minute game that could take you an hour or more to play because, while it is not impossible, it is hard to keep yourself alive long enough to kill the insurgent's leader and win the Croix de Guerre.

Graphics are excellent and, while the gameplay is not mentally challenging (basically just a shooter where you must be very accurate), it is a lot of fun. However, once you have won through to the end a few times, the novelty aspect wears off and you might not want to play it again for a while (except to show up your friends!).

We really enjoyed Saharan Outpost. It is simple to play, fun, and includes enough fake blood to appease most gamers.

Even though it has limited gameplay, it is well worth grabbing.

Check it out for yourself!
